5 km Race - Technical Description

The event takes place in the island of Andros, and, especially in Korthi Bay (Ormos Korthiou). The total length of thisrace is 4,6 km with a maximum elevation of 170m. The route consists of: 46% cement road, 18% dirt road, 18% asphalt, 12% paved road and 7% trail. Athletes racing the 5km route are expected to know the terms of participation, the safety rules set by the Organizer and follow the instructions of the Technical Director

Race Description

• 0 to 1,15km – Cement Central square to st Aikaterini church
• 1,15km έως 1,25km – Trail from st Aikaterini church to Grias Pidima Beach road
• 1,25km έως 2,1km – Dirt road road to Grias Pidima Beach to Rogo village
• 2,1km έως 2,9km – Asphalt road to Rogo village
• 2,9km έως 3,15km – Paved road crossing Rogo Village
• 3,15km έως 3,4km – Trail from Rogo village to the river
• 3,4km έως 4,3km – Cement from the river to Korthi
• 4,3km έως 4,6km – Paved road crossing Korthi
